Snow in Santa Fe

As a family we decided to reward our kid with a trip to New Mexico's capital to enjoy a delish pastry.

Now, we have been to Santa Fe before but the last time we went up there it wasn't so boring for our kid who is very imaginative, creative and anti social at times....we took my pal Tonya up there. After some touring and Kodak moments, we got hungry and ate at Angels Bakery and breakfast...a place we had never been in part because it was sort of a hole-in-the-wall and also because I guess it seemed a bit pricey. But all along our noble out of towner was paying for us everywhere so we broke past the barriers and ate.

This time was just as magical as it was snowing.

As we began to drive up there the rain plopped slowly then harder like  a storm, then pluttery like sloshey snow...then SNOW! Eating at the bakery we could see out the screen door opened the fluttering of soft white snow against the all tan and brown buildings. So beautiful.

Of course, the drive home was a bit scary. But it was all magical too.
